My client’s owned a 3 bedroom, one bathroom upper villa flat with attic storage space in Leith, Edinburgh.
The attic conversion forms a master suite with spacious bedroom, dressing area and en suite. The new stairs open onto the hall as required by the fire safety building regulations. An existing bedroom is slightly smaller to make room for the stair. This bedroom still works well with loads of storage space carefully designed below the stair.

My clients owned a substantial four bedroom semi detached house with attic storage space in Liberton, Edinburgh. There was only one family bathroom on the upper floor and with their frequent guests, this was not enough! An en suite and walk in robe for the master bedroom and additional guest bedrooms were priorities.
One bedroom on the first floor was sacrificed to create a new stair and a fabulous en suite shower room and walk in robe. A further two bedrooms and en suite were created in the attic. The existing cupola was refurbished to form two roof lights in the attic bedrooms. A raised shelf in the second attic bedroom allows enough headroom on the stair below and maximises the space available in the bedroom.

My client owns a 2 bedroom, one bathroom upper villa flat with attic storage space in Parkhead, Edinburgh.
This attic conversion forms an additional bedroom or living room with a separate shower room. The compact new stair case is accessed off the hall to meet the fire building regulations. The stair case has a wardrobe below it, so that the existing bedroom still works well.
