About

I’m Lisa Young an architect and mum based in Edinburgh.

I create architecture that celebrates everyday life.

I established ArchiLife in 2013. I specialise in house extensions, attic conversions and internal alterations, because I want to help clients like you get the most out of your home in an imaginative and cost-effective manner. I love it when a few small changes transform how a space functions, be that adding an extra room or rearranging the existing rooms.

Sustainable design is important to me. Not just to help the environment, but also to create happy, healthy and efficient homes.

When not busy transforming homes or playing with my children, I love relaxing somewhere scenic with my watercolours and sketchbook.
